Frozen Chocolate Monkey Treats - 72 kcal/1g protein

Servings: approx. 18 - 72 kcal/1g protein per treat
3 medium bananas
1 cup dark chocolate chips
2 teaspoons shortening
Optional toppings: Chopped peanuts, toasted sweetened shredded coconut and colored jimmies/sprinkles
Cut each banana crosswise into 6 pieces (about 1 in. thick). Insert a toothpick into each piece; transfer to a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Freeze until completely firm, about 1 hour.
In a microwave, melt chocolate and shortening; stir until smooth. Dip banana pieces in chocolate mixture; allow excess to drip off. Dip pieces in toppings as desired; return to baking sheet. Freeze at least 30 minutes before serving.

my mom made a pumpkin pie when i woke up, and i ate way too much :( im so disappointed in myself. idek what im going to eat yet tomorrow, i have some low cal apple sauce and fruit snacks but ive been so obsessed with heavy meals and obviously pumpkin pie. ugh. at least i was under 1000? i didn’t get very many steps today because it was so cold and rainy. i’m so scared to see how much i weigh tomorrow, ive been so off track :(
